Volleyball Club Review By Canby Volleyball Club
The task of the Canby Volleyball Club is to teach the various aspects of the game to players willing they are ready to learn that there is more to the sport of volleyball limited to pursuit of a ball.
A nonprofit organization, conducting fundraising activities frequently, Canby VBC accepts girls in grades four through 12 and this year has six girls teams ages following:
12 Blue, 14 Blue, 14 Blue, Blue, White 16, White 18 16. fundraising events have included staffing the food booth at home games, selling calendars, and / or Entertainment Books ESPN Coaches Fundraising. These fundraising events are facilitated to offset the costs of the club. Canby players directly involved in these fundraising projects receive the benefits credited to their accounts.
Well known in Canby and surrounding areas this women's volleyball club offers young participants the opportunity to become familiar with how to cope with stressful situations that occur in a tournament together with the pressure that comes with being on the road.
Canby volleyball players are also taught the importance the formation of teams, how to create and maintain team spirit and tactical gameplay elements.
Like most clubs, Girls who register with Canby probably interested in learning volleyball skills college preparation, with the majority of junior volleyball players training hard, hoping for a spot in a list of college volleyball. But even for those who may choose another path in life, many of the skills they learn in Canby Volleyball Club is sure to be useful in other places either in the field. These include stress, remain calm under pressure, and leadership experience that players have with them as they enter the world of business, sports, and any other projects that can start or participate in.
Founded in 1996, Canby is considered by many to be not only a preparation for college volleyball club, but as a place that offers classes in life skills where girls have the added benefit of learning to play volleyball.
Like most clubs, club volleyball players are trained Canby by active and retired coaches and former and current college players willing to share their knowledge with junior assistants. Canby VBC-host volleyball tournament are held one to three times a month from early January until late March at Ackerman Middle School and High School Canby.
Monthly board meetings was held at the local pizzeria and chaired by the president and director of the Canby Volleyball Club, Debbie Turrentine.
