The circular weights toe heel provide stability by reducing amplified head rotation on off center impacts for a larger sweet spot. The factory adjustable weights are intended to length headweight-axle combination. Design, Looks and Setup
For those of you who did not like the German Stainless Steel (GSS) insertion in the Studio line style, is now a thing of the past ( golf wholesale). Although the Newport 2 head style is similar to the past, there are some very significant changes to the Studio version Select as it seems a combination of different headings few. If you look from the side of the face, you might think you're looking for in the Mil-Spec with the three red colon and the name of Cameron and a more rounded bottom. Also a very distinctive grinding Patten make the face look quite significant.
Another difference Newports with the past is the high toe set-up that reduces the tendency of players to raise the toe and aim left of target. I found this to be an addition very nice.

As for the feeling and reaction, Select Studio box provides plenty of both. When it hit perfectly (or very near), the feeling is very soft with some subtle of "elastic" feeling that lets you know who caught it on the sweet spot. off-center hits are a little "Clanky" and produce a sound different. It is not super-high MOI putters (although that will help some of them), so not much premium on short putts beaten. The putt very well and still rolls very much in line almost, but your distance will suffer some and you can definitely feel the difference.
