Burner Fairway Wood

R9 TaylorMade TP fairway wood comes your way

For years, TaylorMade has been one of the industry leaders in the design and manufacture Golf clubs. Continuously off some of the best golf equipment available. Although probably best known for its drivers, with such beauties of the past, such as R7, have also made some absolutely fantastic fairway woods the years also.

I keep thinking back to when my father came home with his first Raylor Tour or spoon. Clubs were great and far ahead of his time. I've never had a 3-wood I have full trust. Many of my fellow players have to "go to" fairway woods knowing that the grass is short, when the chips are down. This club would be a great find and it would take some pressure off of my driver. So as you can expect when I heard that was one of the new TaylorMade TP R9 fairway wood coming my way was full of expectations. I already had a Burner TP 3-wood in the bag and was ready to put to the test again to see if I needed to change.

TaylorMade's designers have decided this year to leave their MWT (movable weight technology) line of fairway woods and have used their new TCF (Flight Control Technology) in place.

Golfers gives the possibility FCT to set the face angle, loft, and are eight different positions to help us optimize our trajectory and shot shape. This is accomplished by rotating a metal sleeve placed on the tip of the shaft in eight different positions. Each post has a different configuration and launch conditions. Basically, you remove the axis of the head, FCT loosening the bolt with the new (blank) key, rotate the shaft to the position you prefer, and screw the whole thing back together again. For this there bricoleur is almost as fun as you may have with a wrench and a driving range.

Up close you can see the position of the new TaylorMade hosel Technology Flight Control. The streets come standard R9 Motore Fujikura shafts have been developed in HIT (High inertia Council) technology. Fujikura technology ensures that your new HIT delivers more power to the ball, keeping more energy in the tip of the golf shaft. The TP model comes with a Fujikura shaft slightly improved Motore F1.

The design Head has been called "new classic" by TaylorMade head shapes due to its successful combination of modern and classic. It seems that Taylormade has passed themselves again. If nothing else I should win the prize for the golf club mark with most of the acronyms and nicknames!

As mentioned earlier, TaylorMade has been named the head design as "new classics" because of the modernization of the classic shape of the head. If this is true or a lot of PR fantasy do not know, but I like it that way. The triangular shape is not as excessive as some "geometric" metal woods, and is more well-rounded also, it helps.

The crown is a dark glossy black with nothing more than a little like a TaylorMade logo alignment aid. This is definitely a return to the classic look like crowns TaylorMade Burner line in 2008, more charts and lines in which a set of high-rise flat.

TaylorMade "New Classic" head design is a simple lesson in efficiency. There is nothing here to distract you from hitting a great shot. Plants are also wonderfully discreet as they are a simple brushed silver Taylor Made golf clubs graphics that adorn them. Personally, I like this as I believe that the performance of a club that set him apart, not the sleek paint job.

In short, TaylorMade has removed any anything and everything for this club that could interfere with the general appearance and left behind nothing more than necessary to function as good golf clubs. This is something of a breath of fresh air in a moment it seems neon colors are finding their way into clubheads at an alarming rate.
