Most of the features that make the TaylorMade Burner Superfast a virtual hot rod between the conductors (Dual Crown technology, the aerodynamic design of the clubhead and clubface ultra-thin) also are present in the TP Superfast. The Tour preferred model has a bit more open and less profound than the standard Superfast face, and also has a heavy travel grip velvet. However, the Superfast TP is one of the fastest drivers in TaylorMade's arsenal, thanks to a shaft longer than normal (46 inches) and a design head of the club aggressively. The crown curved around the front and heel of the club helps to reduce drag, increase clubhead speed for maximum 2 miles above the TP 09 burners.
A double crown, with the smaller of the two crowns on the top, allows additional weight low and deep withdrew in the head to increase carry and distance. An expanded area of the face (just over 4,000 square millimeters) and the 460cc head also increase confidence. The PT Superfast shaft comes with an array of 65 grams HD6 (To promote a ball flight more penetrating) and has an all-black finish, similar to the R9 Supertrios.
