Irons Ping Rapture V2 Driver Ping Rapture V2 Y

Ping Rapture V2 irons the investment performance of Ping in multi-metal technology that combines the properties key properties of various materials to deliver a club that produces optimal performance. The Rapture V2 iron is made or a tungsten sole weight, titanium face and a steel body steel to allow for innovative game design improvement. The lightweight titanium face allows it to be moved to the larger tungsten sole that positions the center of ideal gravity for higher launch angle and increased MOI. As a result of the Ping Rapture V2 can incorporate stronger lofts to increase distance without sacrificing control. The addition of a deep harbor Custom Tuning with elastomer inserts increases the stability of the face for solid feel and consistent response across the face stick together.

Designed for golfers maximum forgiveness

the Rapture V2 iron relies on multi-metal technology to launch the ball longer, taller and more accurately. A dense tungsten weight positions only center of gravity low and away from the face to optimize launch conditions. An innovation made possible by the lightweight titanium face that frees weight for where more low and on the perimeter.

The angle launch high for stronger lofts

So golfers can generate greater distance without sacrificing control. The Custom Tuning Port stabilizes the face titanium to help ensure a solid feel and consistency.

Who said that a sequel does not live up to original has not beaten the Ping Rapture V2 driver. This addition - part of 2009 Ping lineup - the Ping line of clubs comes on the heels of the company's wildly successful introduction in the fall of 2007 lines of G-10 and the Rapture.

With a slightly elongated face profile and high-tech blend of titanium body with a tungsten weight, V2 uses the clubfitters grail 'holy high launch, low turnover. The Rapture V2 does this with performance and style. Dual tungsten weights to work to maintain the weight low and deep in the head, to help lift the ball.

The first noticeable difference in the original Rapture driver is the spicy lime green on the y axis the sole. But the changes are not merely cosmetic. In Hollywood you can call a plot twist, Ping V2 has endowed with a super stock 939 L through X axis flexes. Weighing in the shaft 47 grams and 45.75 inches, finished length, this makes the V2 drivers longest and lightest on the market. Making a cameo in this sequel is to update values in a Mitsubishi Diamana shaft Blueboard. At 63 grams, this ultra-premium shaft low turnover and release for players who want a little more robust than the 939 axis.

Ping has held the crown in more traditional pear shape of the original Rapture - good news for those who want their disguise 460cc smaller pilot head.

With the expansion of the height of the face and extending the clubhead dimensions, Ping has expanded the sweet spot in the club face and always a very hot face, providing the speed of the ball great player, regardless of skill level.

I had the opportunity to test the V2 population of 939 with the shaft. Using a Bushnell Medalist rangefinder, which could approximate closely my distance. In general, using a ball Bridgestone B-330S control, I found the V2 in about 5.8 meters longer similarly hit driver units against Ping G-10. The attic of the two pilots was 10.5 degrees and the flex was stiff in both.

The sound you chose. Not a "Tinkerbell" or hollow sound, but more than sound quality solid. I found the V2 trajectory to be a little quicker release through the "ideal window" about 10-20 yards from the tee. Once in the air, the V2 trajectory seemed to flatten faster than the G-10. I attribute this to the lower back that Ping has designed in the club. The net result is a little roll over once the ball hit the ground. And we can all use a roll of paper.

However, Ping engineers have captured the hot face of the G-10 and the solid sound and feel of the original Rapture and put it in the V2 package.
