Golf Bag Clubs
![]() |
It is off season for many golfers in the northern states of the USA. It is time to take a break from the early days of the morning tee time and have to do something "in doors" of golf, or golf courses in computer generated or a temporary indoor golf green in the center of the room.
For golfers decided to play throughout the year and traveling south to warmer climates, a golf travel bag becomes an obligation to buy. Whether traveling for plane or train, your clubs need protection. (Some years ago, traveling to Hilton Head for golf, one of the women in our group had the head of his driver very expensive when you let a careless baggage handler threw the golf travel bag on the track. The airline gave him some monetary compensation, but as the driver was new, the amount is not equal to the replacement cost. - That's another story.) The point is that their sticks are a great investment and need to be protected while traveling.
So the bag is the best? Hard case? Soft Case? Your choice will depend on how much you travel with your golf clubs, how much additional space need shoes, balls, towels, etc (I stuff all kinds of extra material in the bag, including my pillow! which helps provide extra padding. And with the cargo airlines extra bag for you, the second anyway, why not material golf travel bag with clothes too?)
Here are some types Travel bags that you might consider using in your golf trip to one step.
Heavy Duty Soft Bag: This style is used by more touring professionals on the PGA, Champions, LPGA and circuits - choose a bag with wheels makes it easy to maneuver. Check to make sure the filling is thick Additional to protect your clubs and pick a bag that has lots of pockets with extra strong zippers so you can bring all the "extras" articles.
Bag Hybrid: This type of bag can be used in both the golf course and during the trip. Look for one that offers all the features of a cart bag, and has a rigid "shell" you can add when you take on the road. Choose a backpack with wheels in line for an easier time crossing of long airport corridors.
Polyester Hi-Impact Bag: This bag has a cloth cover but must be reinforced interior laminate, usually made of PVC. soft parts should be well padded. cushioning material is best. And be sure to try the bag strap for easy transport and the wheels for a smooth glide.
The bottom line in deciding what type of golf travel bag you buy depends on the number of trips you plan to do, how much protection you need, and the value of their clubs. mild cases with a large amount of fill are lighter and easier manage, and protect your clubs in most circumstances. Hard cases are generally heavier but the promise of better protection, although they can be opened unless to add security strips. Most cases fit 14 travel clubs your golf bag, but if you have one driver overtime, make sure the length of the travel bag can accommodate it. You do not want to leave that special club house!
Ask your friends playing golf. Visit a variety of web sites to see what they offer. But remember, you get what you pay. Do you really want to put your clubs thousands of dollars on a $ 29 stock you bought at the local Big Lots?
