Golf Club Ladies

Ladies are at a disadvantage when it comes to putting together a set of golf clubs that fit well and from which they can get the most out of their games. The reason is that there are many other options in the normal off the shelf, ladies golf clubs. With typically less than 10% of sales for a golf club company coming from ladies golf clubs, the options are few, just in club styles, flexible shaft, swing weights, or lofts normally available in golf shops. An exception to this is the excellent line offered by Nancy Lopez golf courses. This is the subject of another article, but you can easily find your website with one simple search.

In general, women have slower swing speeds than men and need shorter clubs and more loft. There are, of course, with women changes better and stronger than most men. Lorena Ochoa on the LPGA Tour average of 270 meters in the shooting death of his shirt. This is surprising for a woman who weighs about 115 pounds! She is best rated professional player in the world, however, and this article is for women who are less able than the top LPGA pros have.

Driver Considerations

You must know your swing speed with at least one driver, preferably with the driver and 5 iron. Women who can swing the controller more than 70 miles per hour can use titanium drivers deal effectively and to enhance the spring effect off the face of the nature of their club. If the speed of swing is more like driving 60 miles per hour, you'd have to find a special titanium face, and they are not readily available. If they are so serious who will not ladies custom golf clubs made by a certified installer and the manufacturer of the club. So in that case, ask your club maker, if he or she can offer options. On the clubface loft, the slower your swing, the higher the loft necessary. If you can easily get the ball in the air, a loft of 13-14 degrees should work well for your driver. If you have trouble getting the ball in the air, you may need to use a 3 wood grade 16 to take full out of your swing. Other ways to help get the ball a little higher in the air are the use of an offset hosel or a more flexible shaft.

Forest Street

fairway wood clubs are critical to women or men with golf shots slower. If your swing speed is in the 60MPH range, you should start your wood street with a 5 wood and leave the 3-wood. His other woods then you probably need to be 9 and 13 wood. The reason to skip an odd number of wood is because it hits the ball much farther than a 5 wood which will be a 7-wood, for example. In other words, the gap distance between the two clubs is not enough to justify the completion of another club. As for the length of club, there should be at least a one inch difference in each odd numbered club. That is, should be a 7-wood inch shorter than the timber 5, 9 and the timber should be 2 inches shorter than the timber 5, for example.

For women who swing 70 mph or more, a 3-wood might be a good option, but must have at least a 16-degree loft to keep the ball in the air longer. This group of golfers can be justified having any other odd number wood in their bags, such as 3, 5, 7 and 9 woods, for example.
