I started playing with the Callaway ERC Fusion driver in the spring of 2004. I had played the Callaway C4, the most Big Big Bertha, Great Big Bertha and Big Bertha Warbird. Although I liked my previous drivers, and beat them pretty good, nothing compares with the success I'm having with the ERC Fusion. I have become much more accurate off the tee, hit with more streets, and driving much longer than my regular opponents. As you probably know, when they are longer and straighter off the tee, you score better.
It is much easier to reach the green from 150 yds. out from a good lie in the fairway, what is 170 yards. out from the rough, and even trees. The biggest sweetspot provides me the accuracy and distance needed for tight par 4 and par 5 long. The ERC Fusion enables me to reach some of those par 5 2, cutting even more strokes of my game. It's great to put an eagle from time to time. The feeling of lightness, I may slow down my swing producing much better contact. It is simply the best driver I have played Callaway.
And, yes, but not want to admit it, my fellow regular game envy me, especially in what I'm looking at them from the street, waiting for the first hit to the green.
