Irons Golf Club

The new rules have been introduced in the game of golf that limit the volume of the slot in the golf clubs with a loft less than 25 degrees. This broadly is anything above a 5 iron. The rules means there is a limit to the sharp edge of the slot on the club face and shape of the grooves has therefore been redefined.

The new rules only really apply to all golf clubs manufactured after January 1, 2010. Any golf club manufactured before this date previously met with the regulation will remain valid until at least 2024. Pre 2010 models may still be produced until late 2010.

The rigid regulations again means that it is probably more difficult to give a blow from the rough and get as much money on it than was previously possible. Are being carried out this change because they feel that golfers should be more highly rewarded for the accuracy of the fairway is the case today. Effectively penalize those who do not adhere to the fairway.

From January 1, 2010 all amateur and professional qualified to play in professional tournaments are affected by this bug. The decision apply to lower level professional and elite amateur from 2014. It is likely that the decision will apply to all golfers from 2024, but this will be reviewed in 2020.

Therefore, if you are a golf player every day then you really need not worry about these rules as they are now. You can still use their existing clubs, but keep in mind the changes if you are looking to change clubs in the coming years and make sure you have those who conform to the new rules are not limited as to how long you can use.
