It's not often you get to make a purchase of something that delivers as promised, but that's what Nike Ignite irons did for me. I bought a new iron Nike Ignite set before the start of this season (had to drive to Columbus to get a favor, because the stores around here do not carry them), and all I can say is WOW!
Now, whenever I had a decent drive, and my putting is pretty good - but my fight from the strip has been monumental. No matter if it was in a position perfect chip uphill or not, I never seemed to be able to use my irons to get them to do what I wanted. The Nike Turn changed for me. I am not of those who assume (especially about my golf game), but my handicap has reduced from 9-5 this year and its all because I can control my chips a lot better with these new irons.
I've been trying to determine exactly what it is my Nike Boosts who have made a big difference. When I was well jump right on the wrong side Fringe or by sending a single candle on the massive green before, now I'm landing on them constantly short pristine green spot almost all the time. I do not necessarily in the best position to reach the green, but I'm hitting the green - which is a huge improvement for me. I think the main difference is that the Nike Slingshot irons are stress swing and that seems to give a great blow at impact. With my old clubs was always forcing the shot because they were not as heavy as difficult with large heads, but the sling Nike has a more rational way that floats your way through the swing. Its kind of like swinging a marshmallow on a stick - except it has a large loft and not too long distance.
I believe this lightweight, easy and quick start swing have basically allowed me to have more control over my head club speed, so I am more precisely control the distance I am hitting the ball. I recommend the set of Nike Ignite iron to anyone who is struggling reach the green on the second tee shot or third. The best irons I have ever played!
