Golf can be a frustrating game, even the best players. Although driving is a big part of the game at some point people have had problems in bunkers. Some days the ball seems to be drawn to these wells filled with sand and you spend all the sand shovel days in air. Here are three golf courses in Chipping tips to improve your skills bunker.
1. Do not try and slide the clubface under the ball. This is the biggest mistake you can make one and that most people. The club does most of the work that is not necessary to try to take the ball up.
2. The correct position is essential. Hands should be ahead of the ball and most of your weight should be on the front foot. The ball should be between your legs. Your left wrist should be as straight and solid as possible, or on your wrist right if left handed. Her wrists are not involved in jump, the action is all in the hips!
3. Select the right club. Chipping is can do with all the clubs in a 3-iron to a sand wedge and you should choose the right club for the situation. The key to good ability to jump is not trying to get air as much as possible, but for air long enough to get by and then throw the rest of the way on the green. You ball should fall about 3 feet from the hole after shooting the rest of the distance.
Like all aspects of golf, practice makes perfect, but with a little education can become a much better player.
