Wedge Club Right

As a general rule, always choose a club that lets you fly chipped the shot right on the surface of the green and roll the ball into the hole. For example, if you have a shot from 60 feet but they are only five meters off the green, chipping choose a club that you can hit about 6 feet that has the proper loft for the ball to roll another 54 feet. Perhaps is a function of five or six iron, on the slope of the green.

Poor chippers have a couple of common faults - (1) using the same club for almost all situations, and (2) try to throw their lies do not permit. These bad habits are real murderers short game. Let's look at each one.

(1) Using the same club during almost all situations - Let's say the ball is just off the green, the hole is 70 yards away, and always chip with a sand wedge. You will have to carry the ball 50 or 60 feet. There is very little margin for error, and is easy to hit the shot fat. The safer play is to use a 5.6 or 7 iron, the ball flies a short distance to the green, then let it roll like a putt into the hole.

Now let's say the ball is 30 feet off the green, the flagpole is only on the surface of the green, and always with a 7-iron chip. You will need to land the ball well under the thumb green and bad risks that can affect both the direction and distance.

These are two examples of bad decisions that lead to chipping club a higher score. Use the same method but chipping clubs changed to suit the situation.

(2) Trying to chip shots will not lie "Let's say the pin is on a fast green that slopes away. You grab your lob wedge because you have to hit the ball high, soft and stop quickly. That's the right move, if you have a good lie. But what if your ball is sitting in a blatant lie or thin. The wedge of the ball becomes a play very high risk because of the lie. The safer play is to take a 9-iron and the ball land on the fringe, beyond knowing that roll the hole. You still have the opportunity to make that putt again.

The good news for the poor of the chipper is that it can cut strokes in your score without making mechanical improvements. He chipped just choose clubs that reduce the risk of a bad shot and increase the chances of success.
